After successfully checking out via our secure payment form, a “Group Leader” account will automatically be created and you’ll be instantly logged in. You will be able to start enrolling your staff in the training immediately by filling out and submitting a simple form.
Your staff will receive notifications via email letting them know they’re enrolled along with a link back to the site and a password. You will also have the ability to view progress and view/print certificates from a simplified training report.

Our standard sexual harassment courses take around 60 minutes to complete. Some of the State-specific courses may take longer due to their legislated training requirements. For example, some of the supervisor courses can take up to two hours to complete.
Also, because the courses are self-paced, the time it takes to complete them can vary significantly depending on the learner.

New York Training Law FAQ
New York State
All employers regardless of size must train all employees.
New York City
Employers who had 15 or more employees at any given point in the previous calendar year must provide sexual harassment training to their staff.
New York State
All employees must receive training, including short-term employees, part-time employees, and interns.
All contractors who bid on contracts to provide goods or services to the New York State government or any state agency where competitive bidding is required must certify that they have a sexual harassment policy and that they provide annual sexual harassment training to all employees, even those outside of the state.
New York City
All employees must receive training, including short-term employees, part-time employees, and interns.
If a short-term employee, part-time employee, intern, independent contractor, or freelancer works:
- more than 80 hours in a calendar year AND
- for at least 90 days,
New York legislation requires that employers provide sexual harassment training to new employees as soon as possible after hire. Both the NY State and City legislation further note that employers may be liable for the actions of employees immediately upon hire.
We recommend facilitating sexual harassment training as a part of your employee onboarding/orientation program to help reduce risk and liability immediately.
The training deadline for New York State was October 9, 2019.
The training deadline for New York City’s “Stop Sexual Harassment in NYC Act,” was December 31, 2019.
Sexual Harassment training for New York employees is required to be provided at least annually.
Because employers are responsible for ensuring that the training received is compliant with the legislation, it’s recommended that employers train all new employees, even if the employee received training at a previous employer.
However, if the employee can provide evidence that training has been received, and that training meets the legislative requirements, retraining does not need to be provided until the retraining interval.
Employers must keep documentation of the training provided to employees and supervisors for at least three years.
